  White Pines Victorian Lodge B&B

In the heart of Sturgeon Bay's quiet residential historic district -
no flowered wallpapers or fabrics anywhere --
we offer the real Northern Wisconsin experience.

...below the tension line
Open Year Round

Whether  you've never been to America, to Wisconsin, or to Door County, or you visit often, we invite you...come stay with us on Wisconsin’s beautiful island peninsula.

Step back in time to a peaceful
era when tall-masted schooners sailed the Great Lakes...where
sun and shade still mix between the
towering pines, just as intended by the house's original owner in 1870.

The area is so quiet, you’ll think you'r
e deep in the forest, yet are just a short walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the bay shore.  Visit museums or enjoy a performance at Third Avenue Playhouse.  Art galleries, movie theatres, scenic boat trips, hiking & bicycle trails, and over 60 state and county parks offer endless possibilities.  Stroll down to the glistening shipping canal, connecting the bay of Green Bay to Lake Michigan, and watch the tugboats, yachts, fishing boats, and gigantic ships that are so much a part of life on the Great Lakes.  Boat, bicycle, & X-country ski rentals right nearby.
Sturgeon Bay is Door County's most year round community.

Spend a lazy afternoon on the big front veranda, play croquet or badminton on the lawn, take in some sun, or grill out enjoying the gardens and birds.

The choice for those who seek a quiet retreat, an actual vacation, rather than one hectic night.  Life at White Pines Victorian Lodge is peaceful and relaxed.  Up North ... as it used to be.
